This Week at Jackie O’s: Bourbon Barrel Oil of Aphrodite bottles!
In bottle news, we’re excited to share that Bourbon Barrel Oil of Aphrodite will be released this week at the Taproom and across through distributor, Cavalier, next week! Look for updates about when these delicious bottles will be available in Athens and near you on our social media outlets. We also barreled off Wood Burner for a late 2015 release.
The team is getting ready to brew our session pale ale, Morning Cloak. It’s a special spring seasonal and we hope that in brewing this beer, we’re able to usher in some warmer weather! Bring on the spring!
We’ve also just confirmed that we will be collaborating with Siren Brewing Company in London, slated to occur sometime in late April.
Down at the Taproom, our 30-ton grain silo is up and fully operational. The silo will save us time and money, but is also a huge relief for the back of each person that slugs the stuff down at 25 Campbell. Cheers for helpful new machinery!
Clark has been having fun at the Brewpub in the past week, where his Schwarzbier, The Schwarz Awakens, is now on tap! Whether you’re a Star Wars nerd or not, this 4.6% ABV is certain to please.
Last week, the Brewpub also featured Thin Mint Oil of Aphrodite on Nitro, our dedication to those damn delicious cookies that come into our lives once a cookie season. Just like Thin Mints, the beer was gone before we knew it!
With these awesome new posters, we’re inviting our fans to us how you drink #AthensBeer! Tag @jackieosbrewery and use the #AthensBeer hashtag on Twitter and Instagram for a chance to be featured on our next round of posters.
So many of you responded last week when we asked, “Where in Ohio do you want to see Jackie O’s?” We were able to pass this information along in hopes of stocking our beer closer to you, maybe even your favorite local carry out! Thanks to you, we can now reach more people across the state. Cheers!
This weekend you can find us pouring Razz Wheat and Hop Ryot at the Local Brews, Local Grooves festival in Cleveland, hosted by House of Blues at 308 Euclid Ave. If you’re interested in FREE tickets to the event, email Katie at email@example.com.
