Jackie O’s Brewpub is located at 24 W. Union St. in Uptown Athens. Our Brewpub space is available for private or public events. With space for up to 100 people, with 40 seats inside and another 30 available on the outside patio this space is perfect for medium sized events. All brewpub events can have the option of catering if they choose to use Jackie O’s Public House Catering services. Please note that the historic charm of this particular space does not lend itself to fully accessible restrooms; however, restrooms are available for your party next door in the Public House restaurant.
Jackie O’s Taproom is located at 25 Campbell Street in Athens! This is an ideal space to host an outdoor event for large groups. Outdoor events take place in the Beer Garden fully equipped with picnic tables and umbrellas. If the weather is a concert for your big day, we recommend renting a 20x20 or 20x40 tent from Bedrock Party Rentals. Groups larger than 20 people can use the inside taproom space but please note that the taproom is always open to the public so your event will not be fully private, however, we do offer your choice of several areas to reserve. If you are looking for a fully private space, we recommend checking out our other rental options. Food options include Bagel Street Deli, Jackie O’s Public House Catering, and in some cases outside catering is permitted.
Public House Stage Area
The Public House “Stage Area” is located in the front of the restaurant with large windows overlooking Union St. This space can accommodate up to 20 people and groups must order from the Public House Catering menu.
Public House Restaurant
The Public House Restaurant is typically not available as a private rental space; however, if you’re very motivated to do so, let’s talk!
Located at 171 N. 4th St. in downtown Columbus, the Second Floor Event Room is a 2800 square foot space that can accommodate up to 120 guests standing and 80 guests seated. This mezzanine-style indoor private space overlooks a public bar below, lending itself well to cocktail style social events. The space includes sofas and lounge areas and includes the use of six foot tables and tablecloths and access to two private bathrooms. While there is no permanent bar in this space, a small temporary bar can be set up for your party. Please note that this space is only accessible by a flight of stairs.
Outdoor Mezzanine Space
The Outdoor Mezzanine Event Space located at 171 N. 4th St in downtown Columbus can accommodate up to 150 people cocktail style with seating for up to 100 guests. This outdoor space includes access to the indoor event room in case of inclement weather. A full bar is included along with access to bathrooms located downstairs. This space is handicap accessible via a ramp. This private event space is only available for bookings on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
Barrel Ridge Farm is located approximately 15 minutes from Athens. First and foremost, this is a farm space. It is a picturesque location for those looking for a rustic space to host a larger event. The barn “hanger” can seat up to 150 people at banquet round tables and is best used during temperate times of year (when it’s not too hot or too cold!). This is a space that one would want to visit to see the beauty and uniqueness and learn about all the details before booking.
