Basement Berries
Sour barrel aged red ale fermented with cherries, raspberries and strawberries
After the initial release of Basement Berries in 2016 we quickly set out to brew another batch with just as much intensity and distinct flavor as the first. Aged in fresh red wine barrels for 31 months, and twice refermented with loads of ripe local fruit, this dynamic red ale is beautifully jammy and assertively tart.
