Co-producing Beer
Interested in co-producing your beer with us?
Thank you for your interest in utilizing some of our excess production capabilities to make your beer! We may be new at making your beer, but we are no strangers to making high quality beer in our facilities. We have produced high quality beer since 2006 and are entertaining the idea of brewing your flagship beer for you. Here is what we do and how we normally go about making beer in our facilities in Athens, Ohio as of May 10, 2025.
We charcoal filter our water and treat it appropriately to style in mash and kettle. We use high quality North American equipment that is well maintained. Our batch sizes are 20 bbl (630 gallons) and we have (2) 20 bbl FVs, (15) 40s, and (6) 120s. We centrifuge our products, have flash pasteurization and can batch pasteurize small batches if necessary. We package our beer into standard 12 ounce cans (202s) and then into paktechs for 4 and 6 packs or cartons of 6 packs and 12 packs. We do have a number of other options, but that is the way we prefer to produce beer and is generally the easiest way for us to do things. We have a robust quality control program with data to back it up. We have an open door policy for our clients and want to make a plan that works for all of us.
We have storage, multi pack variety abilities and will give you access to our suppliers that we use which will help with volume discounts and play within our supply chain. Our Brewpub employs a number of accomplished brewers who are more than happy to develop your recipes alongside you. The same goes for design work; we can help as much as you would like. All of these services come as additional costs to our partnership.
We expect our clients to purchase their own raw materials, but can help in a pinch if it falls in line with products we are already using and have in stock. We will charge a tolling fee per can and keg that flows through our walls. The pricing is based on volume. Any volume discounts we receive through bulk ordering like-sized materials or equipment we use will be passed onto the customers. We are going to be selective and careful in choosing partners in this contract brewing process. The more information we have the better. We are looking for a couple of like-minded partners to work alongside!
