The Public House

We considered moving into the space occupied by Skipper's in the summer of 2008. The following year was spent negotiating for that space while the economy tanked and our investors dropped out one by one. To our amazement, the building went up for lease in June and we got the keys June 12, 2009.

The summer was spent knocking down lots of ceilings and talking about lots of crazy ideas for our new space. We knew that a few things would be changing: the kitchen was moving from next door into a much larger space, we would have a bigger stage and we needed to make more beer…
All of these things have come to fruition as we have nearly tripled the volume of food we sell as of March 2012 and nearly doubled the amount of beer that we brew. We have really begun to stretch our legs as a venue in the past few years. The Public House has become a place for anyone and everyone to interact. From hanging out with your friends or bringing in your family members for dinner, people treat the Public House as a place to eat lunch during the day or dance the night away after dark. We have hosted wedding receptions, birthday parties, business meetings and conference closing parties. These events can be catered with a beer or band of your choice. Details are available on our catering and events page. We will continue to improve and update the amenities available to our patrons in the years to come.
Thanks for making the Public House a place for all to enjoy!!
