Things are starting to shape up nicely for the upcoming release. After tasting some barrels this past weekend, Kentucky Monk is ready to be bottled after a year of aging. So, Kentucky monk will join CC7, Berliner Weisse, and Oil as bottled offerings at our 3/2 release. We will also be doing a very soft opening of the Tasting room at our new production facility on both Friday 4 - 10pm, and Saturday 4- 10 pm. Please stop on by check out the new digs and enjoy a Firefly and maybe a Razz Wheat if it is ready.
Sean and I have been firming up the taps for the release. We will have about 20 different beers on draft. There will be some new beers on, vintage kegs, and of course old favorites. The Friday night tap list will be slim. Majority of the beers will go on draft Saturday. The taps will have a number of vintage kegs from all over. We will also be putting out our cellar list of beers that I have been storing since 2009. These beers are not Jackie O's, but there is some quality stuff. I will also dig through the JOs cellar and be selling off a large portion of those bottles.
Hello Beer Lovers,
We are very close to our 7th Anniversary Extravaganza that will be taking place on December 14th and 15th! In this blog post, you will find information on the bottled offerings, limits, and pricing, Tap list, and schedule.
Labels show up at the brewpub tomorrow. We will then start the process of hand numbering and labeling each bottle. I still need to bottle Cherry Man and wax the Lucile bottles. Things are looking good for the release tap list and we are putting together a peach, nectarine, and cantaloupe syrup for the berliner wiesse. I feel confident that we will be ready for a great release! This week we are brewing Razz Wheat, Barking Pumpkin (made with Jackie O's pie Pumpkins), and Hocking Triple.
